Lipton's Come At Me Craw Size and perspective: in my years of angling and catching fish I've noticed that when fish are keying in on crawfish there is one thing that seems to be consistent among different fish species, the size of their prey. I've examined the stomach contents of caught fish: some willingly donating diet "samples" when caught, i.e. puking up crawfish, while others had their stomach contents examined when getting processed. The average size of the crayfish bodies I observed were about one inch in length, about the diameter of a quarter. I like to keep it small.
